A healthy suhoor meal is critical to make it through a day of fasting. Check out our overnight oats recipe, adapted by PtitNFit, full of healthy whole grains and protein to keep you going until iftar.
1 1/2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
2 tablespoon of chia seeds
2 cups of almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
1 tablespoon of date molasses (optional)
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Combine mixture thoroughly
Put in glass jars and place in refrigerator overnight. For Suhoor recommended to leave in the refrigerator at least 4 hours before consuming.
Enjoy with fruit and/or nuts of your choice as toppings or JJar's Almond/Peanut Butter!
