Join our helath expert, Tania Koujo, to make this very chocolaty smoothie that can easily be made KETO. It is boosted with super ingredients that are helpful in fighting inflammation, the root cause to all diseases, from the small ones to the dangerous ones.

 

Avocado - Rich in great monounsaturated fat that can protect against inflammation

Cacao powder (unsweetened) - Rich in flavonoids and polyphenols that are great antioxidants that can help in fighting inflammation

Ginger - Rich in compounds that can inhibit inflammation

Lakanto keto chocolate powder - Fortified in probiotics that keep your gut bacteria balanced. This is critical in managing your immunity and hence your ability to fight any inflammatory compounds

 

  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • 1 TBSP Lakanto drinking chocolate powder
  • 1 full TBSP raw cacao powder (important: I like adding unsweetened real cacao powder because the Monk fruit in Lakanto powder is too sweet so adding raw cacao powder will enhance and balance the chocolate taste. Voila!)
  • 1/4 cup of milk (I use almond)
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1/2 thumb Ginger cube peeled
  • 3 ice cubes + 3 TBSP almond milk
  • Keto granola/nuts to decorate
  • In a blender, place the milk then the rest of the ingredients except for the ice and granola
  • Stop every few seconds to mix the ingredients and smoothen the mix
  • Add the ice with a splash of milk. Blend well while stopping and mixing every few seconds if needed
  • Decorate with nuts or nutty keto granola sweetened with Lakanto maple syrup
