Goldenspoon Recipe

Makes 320g

120ml filtered water

35g Biopret ground turmeric

1 ½ teaspoon Biopret ground pepper

75g melted Biopret coconut oil

100g Miel du Levant raw honey 

 

In a small saucepan mix the water, turmeric, and black pepper over medium heat. Slowly simmer while stirring until it becomes a thick paste. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool.

Gradually add the melted coconut oil to the pan and continue stirring until everything is well-combined. Gradually add the honey, stirring constantly.

Pour the paste into a clean jar and leave to cool to room temperature. Close the jar and place in the refrigerator, stirring a couple of times until it solidifies.

Use this as a sweet spread on toast or mix a tablespoon with hot coconut milk for a delicious turmeric latte.
