Easy Berry Crumble Squares are a tasty treat on the go!

Melt-in-your-mouth crumble with a wonderful berry filling.

🥧 Crust Ingredients:
  • 1 cup & 3/4 GF oat flour (can substitute with regular all-purpose flour if not gluten intolerant)
  • 1 cup & 1/2 GF rolled oats (can substitute with regular oats if not gluten intolerant)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (can substitute with honey mixed with 1 tbsp. hot water)
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tbsp. pink Himalayan salt (can substitute with regular salt)

🍓 Jam Ingredients:
  • 2 cups mixed berries (can use any berries of choice)
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp. lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup (can substitute with honey)

Directions:

  • Mix crust ingredients well together
  • Transfer 3/4 of the quantity to a baking tray with parchment paper
  • Press well and place in the fridge along with the remaining quantity aside
  • On low heat add your Jam filling ingredients & stir for 5 mins until texture thickens
  • Spread the jam over the prepared crust
  • Crumble the remaining crust on top
  • Bake for 20mins in a preheated over at 180C until crust is golden
  • Cool your pie then cut into squares and serve
