DIRECTIONS
This recipe is incredibly easy to make. So let’s get started!
Step 1
Sift the flour to make it nice and fluffy. Depending on your oven, turn it to 180 or 200 degrees.
Step 2
Grab a bowl and start by adding all the dry ingredients. Add the spices first, then mix well.
Step 3
Mix your vegan egg (1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 3 tablespoons of ground flax seeds mixed with ⅓ cup of plant-based milk) into the mashed bananas. Mix well. Add to your dry ingredients when done and mix well.
Step 4
Add the maple syrup, only if you want to, and the coconut oil, then stir.
Step 5
Drop your ingredients into the bread baking mold lined with parchment paper, flatten it out and decorate with the sliced banana. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and some coconut sugar.
Step 6
Put the mold into the oven and check back on it in an hour or 45 mins depending on your oven.
That’s all there is to it! This banana bread should be kept well-covered in foil or plastic wrap at room temperature for up to 3 days, then transfer to the fridge or freezer.
